to the lady that sat opposite me on the train last night...

I apologise if I gave you the impression I was eating my 99 flake in a suggestive manner. The last time I'd enjoyed one of these ice creams I was knee high to a grasshopper and my interests revolved soley around Transformers and Thundercats. Years have gone by and whilst I still have a thing for Cheetara, it seems I have clean lost the skill to maintain any sense of dignity when eating ice cream in a cone. I did consider turning around to face the other way but as you will appreciate, with commuters all around I would have done little more than further the issue involving more passengers. To the gentleman sat next to me on the train last night. You may or may not realise that there is a small vanilla spot of cool ice cream on your right shoe. Again, sorry about that. In other news, GOT MY FIRST REVIEW: "Well, he looks like Mark Owen after a fight, which makes sense when you find out he's done the rounds with BBC Talent and Nigel "Plans For" Martin-Smith. He can thrash out a chorus like Jon Fratelli and his breakneck lyrical pokery makes Alex Turner seem slow-witted. There are infectious, driving melodies, clanging indie guitar, adenoidal Lennonisms (about "girls I fancied/loved/made up") and crazy beats and harmonies via the loop station at his feet. Not to mention the skinniest skinny jeans in existence. Jarvis Cocker with a digital watch? Donovan's grandson? Jonny Wright is Jonny Wright, that's who. And you saw him here first. " BBC CLUB LIVE JULY 2008, Matt Shoard. Pretty happy with that then...I had always seen myself as more of a Brad Pitt than a Jarvis Cocker, Donovan, Mark Owen lovechild mind. The review was taken from a live gig at the BBC, played with Lindsay West and The Yards (Chris Helme from the seahorses new band, good band they are too so go check it). Also been in the studio plenty recently. New track Spinning Jenny up on my player right now which is hitting the spot I hear, let me know what you think. Other than myself and the advice my mum gives me I'm also listening to the Santogold record, rediscovering Jamie T's panic prevention and my mate Logan Wilson who's made the radio 2 playlist. Please go and have a look at Logan's page and listen out for "Sky" on the radio. Cheers dears x
