ALIEN NATION is a chaotic, controlled, pretty, dynamic and explosive answer to current musical trends. They themselves cannot define a genre for their music. The music itself is a blend of spaced-out, psychedelic and grunge(y) guitar noize (Joey Flanagan, Luke Tomkins) melded with beautiful intricate melodies, precise rhythms (David Williams) and pounding bass lines (Krist Tomkins). Their live show is always raw, unpredictable and energetic, and they have been known to spread contagious dancing and occasional mosh-pitting. Their album "No Phun Intended" can be described as a blistering 9 track thrill ride of crunchy-nut cornflake distortion, whirlwind rattlesnake guitar/bass rhythms and gigantic percussive power.
