Diamond Drive
The band lineup you see right now was formed back in December 2006. The core musicians Chris, Patrick, Kalle and Anders, were on the look out for a singer who could liven up to their version of Heavy Rock, and for a long time no one presented themselves, or more precisely no one stood up to be counted. Until that is, Jens appeared; young, twisted and soulful, Diamond Drive were born.
During their first year Diamond Drive have released the Maggot EP, Early 2007, which was well received. Along with playing across their native Denmark they are rapidly making the UK their second home. An initial tour in October 2007 has been followed by a more productive tour in February 2008.
The EP, The Infidel's EP, is due to be released in November 2008.
So far two of the tracks from the online version of the EP has been chosen to be track of the day at garageband.com
Diamond Drive was announced as band of the week on mymusic.dk on June 11th.
