The Jigsaw Trio
The Jigsaw Trio is led by pianist Urszula Szczepanek and has its own short story. The band was recently
formed in February 2011.
Following the recommendations of various people, including the trio’s bass player, the band finally found a truly dedicated to music drummer. The band members include music award winners with the talented
Hugh Richardson playing on electric bass and Jerry Sadowski, an
unstoppable drummer with fantastic musical innovation.
The trio presents music which has unexpected and spontaneous
elements that jump seamlessly from a modern take on a favourite
standard to a monster arrangement. It is difficult to describe the overall
vibe of the music, however one could say it is a versatile mix
consisting of an angelic, jazzy and classical approach, through to
rocky, bebop play, finishing on heavy metal, demonic Drum and Bass
mood.
