After 40 years in the vault, the never before heard or seen material on music legend, Jimi Hendrix, and the Ghetto Fighters™ was released on Hendrix’ birthday, November 27th 2011.

The previously unreleased music was produced by Jimi Hendrix, Arthur and Albert Allen (aka The Aleems - TaharQa and Tunde Ra Aleem), the 3 principals of Jimi Hendrix and the Ghetto Fighters.

The music with an accompanying video will be made available globally on www.urbanstreettales.com, formed by the Aleem Brothers to bring this project and future episodes to market.

The Aleems first met and began working with Jimi Hendrix in the mid 1960s and recorded, with Jimi, three of Hendrix’ albums: "Cry of Love," "Rainbow Bridge" and "War Heroes" as The Ghetto Fighters.

“Mojo Man” is a story of legendary guitar god (Hendrix) and the musical revelation called The Mu that he exposes to his friends, the Aleem Twins. This original Clea’art (DMS) ™ debuts an un-heard original single tiled, “Mojo Man” featuring, Jimi Hendrix on guitar and the Ghetto Fighters with Leroy Burgess on vocals.

From the book, 'In His Words', Jimi Hendrix hailed the Aleems by stating,“The Aleems are the first writers in the Electric Church”, said Jimi Hendrix. This is a project from the Electric Church.

Hendrix and the Aleem Brothers formed the Ghetto Fighters in 1970. Their objective was to explore new music concepts and dimensions in sound. “Mojo Man” reveals that part of the Hendrix/Ghetto Fighter legacy that the world has been waiting for and now through the Ghetto Fighters’ Clea’art (DMS) ™, “Mojo Man,” the world will witness the evolution of sound and sight.

“Jimi was a true visionary,” according to TaharQa Aleem, “whose creativity went far beyond music. He saw the future and while he may not have understood computers or known about digital technology and virtual worlds, he knew that those things were on the horizon”.

Added brother Tunde Ra, “We're not finished yet, we're just continuing the legacy. Its like Jimi said, Jimi Hendrix... Rolling Stone 1969 'It'll be a Sky Church sorta thing. You can get all your answers through music anyway. Our Church will consist of writers Albert and Arthur Allen, aka TaharQa and Tunde Ra Aleem, The Twins' ".
